CRUSH OF THE MONTH
Jennifer Wagstaffe has now been enchanting audiences on numerous stages in Copenhagen for 7 years, having moved here from Durham, England to play Meg Giry in Phantom of the Opera.
Jennifer is the true definition of a ballerina. Even at 9 in the morning she amazes us with her ability to make each movement look elegant and effortless.
She also shows passion and emotion in every role she dances. Her acting skills bring something special to each character so that they come alive and are more than just a string of steps.
She has incomparable musicality, lines, athleticism, technique and dramatic presence, whether playing a manga character in Taynikma at Teater Vestvolden or a shot dove in Jægerbruden at the opera house.
In the summer, she performs at The Peacock Theater in Tivoli Gardens, where she embodies Columbine, amongst other roles, on the stage of the oldest existing building in the Tivoli Gardens. Her remarkable performances at this legendary theatre have led to many exciting opportunities, most recently, having the honor of accompanying Her Majesty Queen Magrethe on her state visit to Indonesia.
When Jennifer steps into the room everything becomes a fairytale. Whether dancing, or just relaxing and chatting, her pure beauty and charming personality make you feel like you are the prince in her fairytale world.
We are so proud that from starting ballet at just 3 years old, she has built an exciting career in Copenhagen, bought an apartment, learnt the language and found her perfect man. She is a role model for every little girl that dreams of being a ballerina. Proving that with a little hard work and determination dreams really can come true.
We are proud to present a Crush Of The Month straight from our hearts. Welcome to the family. This is Jennifer Wagstaffe.
